Frank is kind of abrupt... Very defensive about the quality of the cars when questioned. That seemed like a "red flag" kind of thing to me, HOWEVER I feel like he's still a trustworthy salesman due to the fact that other people have had such satisfaction from him. I am purchasing a car from this dealer very soon. Time will tell how the long term experience will be. Whether good or bad, I will update.
I've purchased three vehicles over that past several years from here. I get bored with vehicles fairly quick and usually get a something new every year and a half. I've traded in all my vehicles and repurchased something every time with good deals. Really easy to deal with and one of my vehicles I had Mike find for me. Couldn't get exactly what I wanted but he came really close and I was really happy with the effort. Will definitely buy from this place in the future.
I purchased a 2008 Hyundai Elantra from this establishment about a week and a half ago. Both the owner and salesman were fast talkers but also personable. I was waiting for a lump some of money to clear in my bank account so they were nice enough to set the car aside for a couple of days. The car was reasonably priced but there is a leak beneath. I do not suspect it to be anything major, maybe the AC but my mom told the salesmen she thought there was a leak due to residue in the gravel. He assured her it came from another vehicles as their cars are rotated weekly.
I bought a car here for my daughter in May. I made it clear that I wanted something economical as it was her first car. I understand that there was no warranty. Within two months I had to replace the front brakes. There is no way the brakes, which was the only thing on the state inspection that was checked as"replaced "could have worn down to bare metal in 3,000 miles. And if that wasn't enough, upon trying to remove a wheel one lug broke completely off because the threads were crossed and another lug was crossed and stripped! I'm no certified mechanic, but I've taken a wheel off of plenty of cars to know that when this wheel was put back on the" mechanic" knew what he did. I'm thankful my daughter didn't catch a flat tire. The car itself runs fine despite this headache!
I do recommend this dealership but I also recommend you bring along someone very knowledgeable about cars.
I did not have to make a trip to the DMV because they handled everything from registration to my hard plates which arrived promptly. They also offered to drill them on.
I have purchased several vehicles there. People always panic when a car hits first timing belt service at 100k. It is a fairly cheap service and if you have water pump and oil seals done at the same time you are good for another 100k easy. Have 2 350k civics in family "fleet" now that came from Dominion. Find a mechanic you trust, and a dealer your comfortable with, and know what you are buying, and you should not have any issues. Very happy with newest purchase, Mike had to hunt for it, but exactly what i wanted and I know with the right maint I will have it a long time.
