My mom had surgery and an overnight stay at memorial regional last week. Her treatment was adequate, but overnight they heard an elderly man screaming “Help me!” over and over until her husband finally went out to see what was going on. When he asked the nurses if the man was okay they responded “What are you talking about?”. As if on cue the man yelled “Help me!!”. A nurse rolled her eyes and said “I’ll check on him...” Another woman screamed for over an hour “Please! I just need to pee!” And the worst, most heartbreaking part, is that the next morning, the nurses stood outside of my mom’s room making fun of the elderly man who they ignored while he begged for help.
Disorganized staff. Non responsive to patient requests.

I went there today in severe pain. . It was my last option to go to the emergency room for my tooth but I did. The doctor there was amazing he was very sweet understanding. He took the time to speak with you and talk to you I was really impressed how he made me feel very comfortable. He listen to what I had to say.Came back in and ecplained my meds said he hopes I feel better. That was very nice of him to say that.His name was Evan E Jones,PA .The young lady taking my blood pressure and stuff could smile little bit because not all people are coming in there to do things that they're not supposed to do that some people do come in there because they don't feel well and with an attitude like hers. That is makes the patient get an attitude with them. So she needs to smile a little bit more she chose that profession.To help people who don't feel well. Smile goes along way especially when that person does not feel well. All in all the doctor he's what made the experience great.
On May 4th 2017, my husband had a pacemaker/ defibrillator put in at Regional Memorial Hospital by Dr Schneider. My husband and I can't say enough good things about our experience at Regional Memorial Hospital and all of the awesome staff, nurses, and doctors who took care of everything from the moment we arrived up until the time of his discharge the hospital. They really made sure that all of his care was up to the highest standards. Thanks again, Mr & Mrs William Keyser I I.
If it can be avoided, you should never, ever go to this hospital. If it can’t be avoided, at the very least, don’t stay there alone.
