Good food when they get order correct. Delivery is way to slow and when order is wrong they only want to give you credit for next time. Well no next time for me
I'm picky about my Chinese food and usually don't care for the "boxed" type restaurants. Chen's is authentic food that is delicious and the staff is very friendly! Good food at good prices. This is one to save!
Had dinner at Chen's last night. We were the only 2 customers they had. We were given a menu and a glass of water and after waiting for 15 minutes had go to the waitress and ask her to take our order and if we could have some noodles. She slammed the noodles on the table, then took our order but waited another 5 minutes before she took it to the kitchen. The first check she brought us wasn't ours....no apologies, she just looked as though it was our fault. When she brought the correct check the price for my dinner was wrong so we asked another waitress to check it. When no one came back to our table we went to the check out to pay. Our original waitress was there she took my friends money and the the phone rang. Instead to asking that person to hold so she could check me out she proceeded to take FOREVER to take the order. After more than a couple of minutes I had had enough and finally told her (while she was still on the phone) that if she didn't take my money then that I would leave. Once she hung up I told her the price for my meal was wrong so she started tapping her computer screen then flipped through the menu obviously unhappy that I would challenge her. She said the computer was correct and the menu was wrong that the price was changed years ago. I told her that wasn't my problem and I was only going to pay the menu price. She rang up my meal at the menu price and whipped out the charge slip for me to sign and draw a line through the tip. My tip to this hateful woman is find another job. I will say the food was very good but not good enough for me to subject myself to such RUDE and HATEFUL service! If I could give them a minus 5 I would.
Ordered 10 minutes before closing..thought they closed at midnight....called and felt like a jerk.... They offered to deliver even though I knew it was late... I picked it up anyways and the food was super fresh and warm.... you can't beat fresh, awesome food and valet service... they should've told me no, they made the food anyways...
The best authentic Chinese food. They have generous portions (we generally get 2-3 meals worth from one order), a serene atmosphere, and fast and friendly service. Our family loves this place!
